Under One Roof

This mural celebrates the people and sense of community that make the SOO Market special. Overlapping hands represent the growers, producers, makers, and artisans behind the market, surrounded by a bouquet-like mix of imagery inspired by the wide range of local produce, specialty products and handmade goods found within it. Seasonal transitions and elements, such as preserved goods and maple leaves, reflect the market throughout the year. The composition sits within a frame, representing the many vendors coming together under one roof, while overlapping imagery creates a sense of abundance.
